Engineer from Preferred (via policy expert) come to fix 2 faulty valves, these were installed wrong and no hot water and heating still. Preferred are saying they won't come back out. I've had a plumber round and he's confirmed they've been wired in wrong.

I gave 32 days notice for three preferred dates for them to pick. Did not manage. I thought boiler service was with gas care. Wrong a third party. Did not manage Requested refund of payment could not do as I had to go back to boiler central, asked for number didn't know that either. Did not manage. If I could give zero stars I would as I would have preferred them not to manage as nothing has been achieved. Further info boiler service for today, engineer did not turn up. Solution state they text and rang. None in my phone. Fortunately Boiler central has now refunded payment. Excellent customer service by them I fell this management solution lets them down.

Absolutely awful is too polite for this company. I rarely, if ever, post reviews but this needs to be heard. Weve been without heating and hot water for 17 days now and Im still unsure if there is an end in sight. We have been messed around so many times by this company. Weve been promised parts have been ordered when they havent been, only to find out when weve called to chase. Weve been given multiple windows of time with a promise theyd show up and they havent. Weve had constant cancellations following hours of waiting in for an engineer to arrive. Weve also had an engineer around who disappeared twice in the same day for 2 hours each time during this 17 day period. Apparently hed left his tool bag elsewhere. To say weve been messed around is an understatement. When theyve failed to show up or order the required part, it has always been us having to chase them up to find out what is going on the answer to which is not a lot. Unfortunately we opted for insurance with Utilities Warehouse who use this company for repairs, but PLEASE if you can, avoid.

Engineer turned up and diagnosed the fault, told 3 - 5 days maximum to order parts. After 2 weeks no one has been back or been in touch, spent a total of 90 minutes on hold the last 3 days and no one has answered the phone. Complained to the insurance company who have now assigned another contractor. All while weve spent 3 weeks with a boiler that only works when it feels like it so often no heating and no hot water with 2 kids in the house. A complete disgrace. Do not trust these cowboys.
