My father-in-law was admitted to Maynell House towards the end of March, 2019. He had suffered a series of falls before entering there but was discharged from hospital as no longer requiring medical treatment. Unfortunately, whilst at Maynells sister home (Foxgrove) he had another fall and broke his leg. I would say that he was 97 and no fault was or should be attached to Foxgrove and I couldnt compliment the staff enough- absolutely brilliant. Father-in-law was then taken into Maynell as they were better positioned to cater for his needs. Over the time that he was there he was treated with the very best care and concerned attention. The house manager runs a very fine ship and should be immensely proud of her brilliant staff. Unfortunately the patient gradually deteriorated and just a few weeks before his 98th birthday he died. I will finish by saying thank you Foxgrove and Maynell and a very special thank you to everyone concerned with those two homes. Brilliant, absolutely Brillant.
