Rooms: The size for the price was a bargain and the decor is quite chic and modern. Nearby activities: The beach and sea front is 2 mins walk and has restaurants and arcades and is really fun! Safety: The area is really quiet and not much traffic at all. Main doors r locked around 9ish but they give u the code to leave as and wen. Walkability: Everything u need is within a 5-10 min walk. Food & drinks: The breakfast was decent for the price.

Did what was needed, nothing more. 6.0 Liked Very convenient location for pier area and bars/restaurant area of Felixstowe. The restaurant was busy with lunch guests on our arrival and this is usually the case on Sundays which told us the food would be good and it was. We had a drink in the bar and again that was popular and busy with locals so another good sign. The staff were very helpful throughout. Parking appears limited on Google Streetview but you could double park to the left of the main door provided you didn't block someone in who might need their car before you did. We arrived early do parked easily Breakfast was great. Disliked We were in room 221. The room was clean but drab. Normally we like to relax when we arrive at an hotel but this room simply encouraged us to drop off our bags and go out. There's a door stop behind the room door that only let's you open the door half way. No good if you're carrying a big bag or suitcase. The bathroom was big but dated and the shower unit needs attention, we were worried it might fall apart. From about 6.30am we could hear what sounded like a service elevator that seemed to be on the other side of the wall next to our headboard being loaded, trundling up or down and being unloaded for about an hour but when I checked outside I saw that the staircase from reception was next to the headboard wall so goodness knows where the noise was coming from. The need springs creaked and knocked at the edges, time for a new bed.
