Richard Sykes Clock Servicing & Repairs

I left my Vienna regulator clock with Richard as it had stopped working. Richard was excellent at contacting me prior to delivering the clock and upfront with the cost for the service. I have just picked up the clock and put it back on the wall. It is working well and it is good to have the comforting tick back in our house. The whole process was efficient and very smooth with good communication. Richard also said that if there were any issues with the clock after servicing he would pop in when passing just to have a look. Excellent service and highly recommended. Thank you Richard.

Richard has done a very professional job on both our old grandfather clock and a family cuckoo clock. Both needed careful restoration. After he had returned them, they needed a bit more work (our cat damaged the hands!) and he was patient and helpful.He told us about the clocks too and that was interesting.

I contacted Richard with two problems I was experiencing with my carriage clock, he was most accommodating and professional in his assessment,we mutually arranged an assessment and he was able to address the problems in a short space of time as well as educating me in carriage clock maintenance and his fee was very reasonable - I have no hesitation in recommending him!

Richard did a fantastic job restoring and servicing our old family chiming clock. He also polished the case and it looks like new, old paint splashes and dust removed, glass polished and pendulum buffed up! Brilliant, now keeps perfect time like it used to when new some 60 years ago!
