I completed the course with decent plastering skills, I was rubbish at first but stu is an excellent tutor. If your thinking about doing this course just do it, I put it of for a few years, wish I had done it sooner now.

I honestly can't say enough good things about this course it was absolutely fantastic from start to finish! Having never plastered before in my life I was hesitant about what to expect and if I would even be able to do it at all but I needn't have worried. Stu was an incredible teacher who's clearly a master at what he does and makes it look effortless. He explained everything in a clear and concise way and demonstrated every technique as many times as necessary until everyone understood it. There are only 3 people on each course so there's loads of one on one instruction and by the end of the 4 days we were all able to achieve a good finish on walls and ceilings having been complete novices at the start. This course is half the price of some of the others I looked at but would genuinely still be a bargain at twice the price so if you've been considering learning how to plaster my advice is go with these guys, you won't regret it!

I went into the 4 day course with barely any DIY skills or confidence in even the smallest jobs. I wanted the confidence and ability to repair damaged walls after stripping paper. I came away with so much more! I completed the course overflowing with confidence, ability and determination to fully plaster my sons room, which I did, to a good standard, two weeks later over the Easter break 2023! The booking was easy to sort with Clare and the location easy to find. From the off, Stew was a very welcoming and professional guy. He kept it really basic and clear at all times which meant progression happened quickly. His bays and equipment/materials are a good standard too. When he got me to mix and skim a wall start to finish on my own, I was really happy. Upon completing my Sons room, im already eyeing up my next project now I have my own equipment and routines in place. I had a few minor problems of my doing, but a text to Stew for advice helped me make the right decisions. Its one of the best things ive ever done! Many thanks Claire and Stew, Rob

Small group so lots of help and assistant. Very good, learned all I needed to as a complete beginner
