Came here with the family and our dog to enjoy the nearby woodland and stunning views. The place was advertised as a dog friendly equestrian experience, which it was not. Our old, quiet husky had to be on a leash at all times due to the livery horses surrounding us. Dog escaped the leash on accident and wandered over to the horses, staying at a distance. We immediately put her back on the leash and walked to the area the owners daughter stated was dog safe before letting her off, only to be chased down by the owner in her car, who was furious and told us to put the dog back on the leash and go back home! Told us if we wanted the dog off the leash we best go to the next town over! We were startled as she came off aggressive over a simple accident and mistake on the daughters part, in this "dog friendly" b and b. She threatened multiple times to kick us out, was passive aggressive the remainder of the stay, reprimanding the children and watching from the windows. The doors had flimsy handles, which the dog could open easily, so constantly watching the doors. Also, not really an equestrian experience unless you bring your own horse, no rides provided or anything like that, strictly no touching or feeding the horses. We were disappointed and uncomfortable the entire stay as was expensive and was a rare chance for a trip out of the city. A shame because the house and location were stunning. In the end we were kicked out early and were not refunded. False advertising and unpleasant owner unfortunately.

Great place to take your horse on holiday, just south of The Ridgeway. Our group took three for two weeks and all were put up in sumptuous beds. Some turnout available and excellent facilities - indoor school, horse walkers, lunge pit etc. Very large and busy yard kept to a high standard with Grace Muir at the helm. Riding out on country lanes and bridleways. Human accommodation comfortable and spacious. Our 'chef' would have liked a few more bits and bobs in the kitchen, large saucepan, soup ladle and large colander, otherwise he was happy enough!
