Situated on the main high street, the leading Light is a Wetherspoon pub that hosts all the usual fare the brand provides, and they do have some great ales on most of the time. Sited from the Wetherspoon website - The name of this pub recalls Henry Wreight (pronounced rate), who was a leading light in the development of Faversham in the 19th century. One the towns two main benefactors, after his death in 1840, his bequest was used to provide schools, the recreation ground and almshouses. He was also three times mayor of Faversham. It's a lovely, good size building with a small garden to the rear. Staff are friendly and welcoming as are the regulars.
