        Very Clicky !!!! they don't value new members or their ideas. When you join they will expect you to offer to volunteer your time which is fair enough, but God help you if you put forward any new concepts of improving the club.

        Sorry to hear this, Linda, but happy to say you and your views are in a minority. In fact, despite the Covid restrictions which have hit all sailing clubs badly, we have actually increased our membership over the period. You and your husband were valued members both of the club and of the committee, and whilst there was a falling out a few years ago over some publicity material, that doesn't detract from our appreciation of your services over several years. Meanwhile, the club has continued to prosper and even in these current difficult times our members have stayed loyal. Time to move on, I think. Mike Riches
