I had seen the sign for Ruby's for a while before I finally stopped and had a look around- but am so glad that I did. The owner is very friendly, there's some fresh fruit and produce, pastries and tea and coffee. We'll worth a stop and look around. I bought various tomato plants from there which are all doing very well. Bought the sea food platter - it was absolutely delicious! Really great treat for my dad who loved it :-) Would heartily recommend the sea food platters.

Lovely farm shop, great produce, bought the Verduijns mustard wafers amongst other things that I didnt intend to buy but got tempted! To die for on deliciousness scale. Also good music and Ruby who turned out to be the owners dog sings beautifully (the owner not the dog). I bought pickled eggs which he assured me are lovely, never eaten a pickled egg in my life as think they sound quite disgusting, but going to give them a try, they might turn out to be an acquired taste, but whatever I am sure they will be the best pickled eggs ever. Oh and the Essex Tea, had a cup whilst there was best tea ever. I am a vegetarian but loads of great veg also, and good organic flour. Fantastic farm shop, well worth a visit.

Visited this farm shop today after seeing the well positioned sign on the drive back from Braintree. The guy was incredibly kind and explained all the different good quality products that he had in stock. I really do appreciate this small local business and hope it thrives!
