        Not very impressed with Claire Cheung or Ambition. I was told that it would be incredible easy to find a job abroad, only to be ghosted and ignored for weeks on end. In the time I was waiting for Claire to respond to my chaser messages, I managed to interview and secure another job abroad. Suddenly, after I informed her I found a job, she piped-up and started responding to me instantaneously.

        A recruiter approached me with a hello on WhatsApp. No further information to that initial message. I politely asked who it was and then enquired how they got my contact details as I have never signed up to Ambition and my cv with my most recent number has not been on a public job board for years. I asked them to remove my details but just a note to Ambition: some people find it quite off-putting when you approach them on WhatsApp and dont introduce yourself. Also, please make it clear where you got their contact details if they havent actively applied. They then immediately sell me a PT role when that doesnt match any of my skills or experience.

        I got a call from this agency today who said they randomly dialed to me for checking my status. After explaining I am not looking for a job, they cut me off the phone without any clue. How rude!
