I was on Maternity leave when my employer advised me my job was up for redundancy due to COVID19. I was asked to find an employment lawyer to represent me, I took to my local Facebook group to ask for recommendations. I was told about Reculver Solicitors and was told to ask for James Carmody, so I googled them and gave him a call. I was very nervous and had no idea what I was meant to be asking him but I explained the situation and he calmed me down and completely took the reins. He advised me of costs and I went back to my employer telling them I had found someone. He was amazing, start to finish, I was and still am in awe of his knowledge. He always made sure I understood all the documents, the next move, possible outcomes and what to expect. I felt confident in everything he told me and was happy to let him do all the work. He went above and beyond for me even so much as to reply to emails whilst he was on holiday! It was an absolute pleasure to deal with him and I can't recommend him enough, he made a very scary and uncertain situation seem like a walk in the park. I couldn't have been happier with the result either.
