The Chronicle by Supercity Aparthotels

I was here for business and found the place to be very homely. It's very well connected, has decently-sized rooms and equipped with fairly recent equipment. It is frequently cleaned by professional staff... I did spot the occasional silverfish but. Boo :( They have a full gym in the basement but can get crammed easily. Special shout out to the warm ladies at the front desk, Sam and Mirella and the unmissable quirky decor in the hall and the elevator ;)

Very friendly staff. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, with everything necessary for a long stay. Room condition is great, new furniture, clean. Only frustration at checkin was the insistence that I show the credit card used to book the room. But it was a corporate centrally booked room, so I didn't have the card. My admin had to talk to them on the phone for 20 minutes to sort it out. A bizarre, mystifying waste of time for a corporate apartment company to foist on guests.

Safety: Reception is manned 24/7 with keycard access required in the evening and when staff have to leave the desk unattended. Keycards are also required to use the lift for a extra security. Noteworthy details: The room was set up well to work from. There was a reasonably sized console table to work at, a desk lamp and reliable wifi.
