Ms Rajkiran Barhey and Mr Robert Shaw of Robson Shaw were both responsible for securing a substantial historic abuse compensation award for myself. I cannot thank Rajkiran and Robert enough. I have never come across such a rude receptionist in my life. Ive been buzzed in, hoping to speak with someone whom I had spoken to earlier on the phone and walk into a spacious and homely looking reception. Unfortunately the friendly reception I was in, was not the friendly reception I got. For at least 5 minutes, the receptionist was having an evidently personal phone conversation with someone I can only assume was a great friend of hers, genuinely gossiping. Talking about Al and Paul, she ensured to reiterate to the person on the other end, that she said to Al that things are misquoted. I was still waiting to speak with her... The worst part isnt that she was on the phone completely ignoring my existence, it was the fact that she visibly turned away as if I wasnt there so she could continue her conversation. After 5 minutes of waiting and clearly, I wasnt going to be spoken to, there were two lovely clerks or assistant clerks in the room opposite who were helpful enough to answer my question and with a smile.
