W O W !! Where do I start!? Writing a review for Ed is almost the most impossible thing, because there are no words strong enough to describe not only the most perfect wedding gallery but also his presence on the day and communication leading up to our wedding. Communication leading up to the day was fantastic, on a call in the week leading up to our wedding Ed was so reassuring and calming, his advice and perspective so clearly came from his wealth of knowledge and experience which instantly put me at ease over those tiny silly little niggles. On the day, Ed was again humble, down to earth, calming, reassuring, easy going and most importantly he has a wicked sense of humour. Again, he instantly managed to squish all of those 'omg I'm going to papped all day, and I hate photos' nerves. Ed blended into the background and was barely noticed by any guest, but yet didn't miss any of the action. The wedding photos...I still cannot believe that they are actually us! Every single shot is utter perfection, going through the gallery is literally like re-living the whole day over and over again, it has been captured flawlessly. The emotion, the atmosphere and the party come across in every single photo. There honestly aren't the words in the dictionary to describe how completely elated we are with our photos, keeping the memories alive and photographs we will treasure forever. Words cant express how perfect Ed was, but Im going to try! I first met Ed at a friends wedding, where I had a great time chatting to him at the bar. He took the most beautiful shot of James and I (which we actually used on our wedding website) so when James proposed, I already knew that we were going to book Ed. Ed is so friendly and easy to talk to that everyone is instantly at ease with him. This, his fantastic eye for detail and his perfect timing means that you end up with a wonderful gallery of photos that capture the wedding day as it actually was (instead of a series of posed or unnatural images). The only issue you will have is trying to decide which photos to have printed! Thank you so much Ed- you really captured us as us.

From the very beginning it was clear that Ed was the right photographer for us. The pictures online were stunning and the reviews were excellent. Our experience with Ed on the day far exceeded our expectations of a photographer. Ed was extremely easy to work with and put our minds at ease when strategising against the English weather and the fading winter light. He also allayed our concerns being people who do not enjoy being photographed. Our photos from this day will be cherished always as the shots captured our wedding but also our personalities. We have had so many compliments from friends and family. We cannot recommend Ed enough. Thank you so much!

We found Ed through Instagram and absolutely loved his colourful, natural images that captured all elements of peoples weddings, including the natural emotions of guests and secret moments. We couldnt be happier that we found him- his communication was amazing throughout, and he had our best interests at heart. On the day, he never felt intrusive, and managed to make our city brewery wedding on a very wet October day look iconic! He was so kind and thoughtful, and directed two camera-shy people perfectly. Ed took every opportunity to get a great photo, without taking us away to miss out on time with our guests. When he sent us the photos (very quickly may I add!) we were thrilled with all of them, and so were our families. They captured the absolute joy of our wedding perfectly, and we couldnt believe how amazingly they represented us as a couple. We wouldnt hesitate to recommend Ed to work with- he was truly outstanding.

If you are lucky enough for Ed to be available on your wedding date, book him without hesitation. Ed was our photographer when we got married in September and was without a doubt, the best decision we made. It's clear from his website and Instagram the sort of incredible photos he takes but he's also absolutely lovely and a joy to have at your wedding. We met him a few months prior at our pre-wedding shoot - Gethin and I were very nervous and weren't sure what to expect. Ed totally put us at ease, chatting away and we love the photos he took! It was so nice to see him again on the morning of our wedding. From the photos of our day, he seems to have been everywhere all at once without any of us noticing. He even hurried down the road to where Gethin was having a pint before the ceremony to capture the scene. His approach is fun and relaxed which is exactly what we wanted and we have been blown away by the photos he took. So many of our family and friends (plus our other suppliers) have commented on how brilliant his photos are, as well as how lovely he was on the day. We can't believe how many photos he's sent us and we love them so much!! He's captured so many moments we may otherwise have forgotten about or missed, they're funny, emotional and tell the real story of our day. We can't recommend him enough. Thanks so much Ed!!
