Go Active Falconry / The Bird Of Prey Centre - Falconry Experiences

Visited today 9th August 2022 with Wife and Grandson, Plenty of birds to see in the cages, Eddie the Eagle was magnificent the birds are obviously well cared for. Simon (owner and head falconer) put on a flying demonstration to see the birds in full flight was brilliant, I managed to be pick for the European Eagle Owl demonstration, 5ft wingspan, you do not hear any noise when it flies over you, just the breeze from its wings. Well worth a visit, going to go back soon.

We did the woodland walk experience. Truly AMAZING. Flying Henry the Harris hawk seeing him in a natural habitat awesome. We all enjoyed it . Simons knowledge about the birds is second to none. The walk is suitable for wheelchair users is in hard standing so all can enjoy the magnificence of seeing these birds of prey fly through the woodland. Would highly recommend and we will be coming back. This was a belated Fathers Day gift it was the best present we could have purchased. Thank you for a memorable experience.

Been coming here sometime now and the farm and birds of prey are absolutely amazing, the staff are forever helpful and their is something for everyone here. If I could give these guys 10)10 I would. My son has mentoring with Simon who owns all the beautiful birds, the mentoring is well within budget and my son who is 12 learns so much from him. I travel from Sheffield every two weeks to come to white post (go active) it's an experience you and your children will NEVER FORGET. Laure and Simon thank you for all your support and guidance in helping my son (who has ASD). What you do for the public is over and above expectations. One last thing I need to shout out the most. Coming here for a while and seeing)hearing the birds when Simon the owner walks by is very four filling to see, the birds really do see him as dad and they get so excited, the work this man puts in everyday of every year (no day offs) really shows in the birds pride towards him. I wish all falconers were like Simon. Their is another person who works behind the scenes who s name hasn't been mentioned that should and she is called Laura Stacey, she makes everything happen so thanks Laura, Thanks to you all.

Brilliant day and amazing value, Simon and staff were brill and clearly love their work. Would highly recommend and we'll definitely go again.
