        It was an OK experience, lovely walks through the woodland. Just wish the old car park was still around, this one gets crowded at popular times.

        The car park is up a long no through road, after the first minute or so your going to start thinking your SatNav has gone mad. Keep going! The car park is at the end.

        Wanting to get out of central London with the kids on a bank holiday and this place was perfect. About a mile up a small lane you reach a little car park, which after midday was full. You can walk in pretty much any direction and will easily get lost in this old Coppiced wood (see the map photo on this review, there isnt a map at the carpark). The views are really good, we chose one at the bottom right corner looking over the picturesque village of Farningham albeit across a motorway but pretty nonetheless. The only thing you cant do, much to kids dismay, is take home a precious stick as there is a bug that is harmful to vegetation (not people) that they dont want to spread. Found via the ExploreKent website
