Fernhill Castle

Well what can I say about this amazing place? 19 of us had the pleasure of staying at Fernhill Castle and it's fair to say we were blown away! A smaller group of us had the pleasure of Michael showing us around when we got there, and it was so interesting and informative listening to the history of, and stories about the building. His passion for the place is definitely infectious and you quickly realise it is a special place indeed. There was plenty of space for us all, the kitchen was more than equipped with everything we needed, the hot tub was amazing, and everywhere you looked there was a curio or a quirk to explore. We all agreed we'd never stayed anywhere like it and we'd love to go back again. Thank you Michael for an unforgettable stay! We can't recommend it enough.

Just returned from a 4 day "alternative Christmas" weekend in this amazing Grade 2 listed property. There were 14 of us and we had so much space. Michael and Briony have worked incredibly hard to bring this building back to use and have created a superb holiday castle for a large group. The grounds are huge and must be wonderful in the summer. Thoroughly recommend this property if you want something unique.

Rented the property for a week with family to celebrate my and my wife's wedding with family. They went above and beyond for us, but after repeatedly asking for our security deposit back we never received it. We left the property in great shape when we left and were never notified of damage. Would have preferred to get money that was promised back but it's looking like that will never happen.
