Cocoa & Whey Cakes

We booked to work with Penelope for our wedding just last week on the 14th of April 2023. We tried some samples of cake at a wedding fair and fell in love. We swiftly booked meetings in and I described the dream cake for our day and to keep a surprise from my now wife. It was absolutely what I wanted it to be and made our day even more complete. From the details of the figures and the cake, to a different flavour not usually offered in Chocolate Orange - with enough to be frozen and kept for our first anniversary. Would highly recommend as one of the best cakes and best people Ive met to do this.

We used Penelope for our wedding cake on 13th January, and it was the best decision we made. I cannot reccomend Cocoa & Whey enough. Penelope was so lovely and very professional from the beginning, and made our wedding cake dreams come true. The cake was fantastic, and went down a treat. I even managed to stick a slice in my suitcase to take on our honeymoon! Thank you so much again. Jemma & Dominic x

Penelope worked so hard with us to design and create the most stunning (and tasty!) wedding cake in June. Throughout the process she was always available to chat and worked brilliantly with our florist on the day. She used the flowers provided to decorate it beautifully and set up everything without a hiccup! Thank you so much again, we had to battle family to take home any cake that we managed to save, it was that yummy! X

Penelope is a very skilful baker, I'm so happy we chose Cocoa & Whey for our wedding cake! She sent a wide variety of flavours for us to try and then we had a great Zoom where we went through every detail. The result was an absolutely stunning 4 tiered semi-naked cake with beautifully positioned flowers. It tasted incredible, we had many comments from guests. I'm just sad we barely had any leftover!

We booked Penelope to make our wedding cake originally for 2020. Thankfully she was able to move to our new date September 2022. We didnt want anyone else making our cake as she is just amazing at what she does. The cake is the best weve ever tasted, so moist and the flavours are incredible. Our wedding cake was stunning and amazing value for how much work she did. We will be returning customers for all our future cake needs! Massive thanks - Lisa & Jonathan
