        Lovely location, good food. However, experience was undermined by slow service. The people were lovely, but there were only two staff, and they were clearly overwhelmed by number of clients (which was not that excessive for a bank holiday lunchtime). This affected our enjoyment . Food & drinks: Excellent food. Slow service

        Whats happened? Ive been a few times before and it was special but this visit really wasnt. I ordered the large fish and chips and I have never seen such a sad looking plate..and it was definitely a lot sadder than the two plates of fish and chips that were on the table behind. No salt and pepper on the table, no offer of sauces. I asked one of the women behind the bar whether it was normal to have so few chips and they agreed it was sparse and brought me some more. Too late though, damage done!
