Very disappointed.! Arrived just before 1.00pm but had to wait 35minutes before our food order was taken. It arrived 25 minutes later. My rump steak which I requested to be well done was like burnt toast on both sides and rather gristley and tough to chew. I didn't want to make a fuss but after I had eaten the meal, a member of staff finally asked if the meal was okay. I told him of my disappointment and the reasons for it and was just told that he was sorry about it. I did show him examples of my steak left on my plate but no offer of a reduction in the bill. What is the point of asking me about it if all they do is say sorry. Usually I really enjoy visiting here but this experience was very poor. The staff did not seem to care about customers, meal given to the wrong tables and hardly a smile from any of them. I observed all of this during my rather long wait for my meal. Perhaps it will be better next time but I did not enjoy my time on this occasion.
