Sorry for the waffle, life story to tell. Don't blame you if you get bored so I've attached some pictures, they do the talking. Mrs was crashed into at low speed causing off side front quarter damage, not major but needed a new door and a bit of work doing. AD Williams in Farnham ended up with our car as Admirals approved repairer. Looked up the company and saw a number of positive reviews so had good vibes. Comms from Jade were good and after a few weeks we were notified the repair work was done, so I popped in to collect. I had a quick look and immediately noticed a few issues, to be fair even Stevie Wonder would have spotted them. Door alignment was horrible and poked out at top, bonnet off centre, something hanging down under the car and to top it off I noticed a new scuff on the front and down the number plate. Peter said not to worry and that adjustments to the door and trim can be made (shouldn't that have already been done?!) and that they would repair the scuff and replace the plate. A few more weeks passed and again we got a call to inform work was complete. The front scuff was repaired but the new number plate came with AD Williams details on, yes because your customers really want to advertise your accident repair company!?! Again the door fitting was not right, and other panels had noticeably different shutlines compared to the other side of the car. Again Peter noted the issues, but this time said that fitment was generally within manufacturers tolerance. I suggested to look at the other side of the vehicle as a reference - that has consistent shutlines, same as the off side prior to the accident. Naturally by this point it's hard to not feel a bit frustrated. Anyway more weeks went by. Third time lucky and things were certainly better, still not perfect in comparison to the near side but a lot better and we're at thr point of being exhausted with thr hassle. I'd suggest the company should have taken more care and done a better job in the first place. Probably pressure of sales/margin targets to meet compromising standards. Based on our experiece we would not recommend choosing AD Williams. If your car ends up with them make sure to check workmanship thoroughly upon collection. Hopefully we were just "unlucky".

Never ever use this company for any body repair or allow your insurers to 'recommend' them as a bodyshop for repair. My ongoing issues have been going on since July 2021 and we are now in February of 2022. Wifes car entered their repair facility last year with a really substandard repair the vehicle was collected from me and driven to the repair facility having been with them for 2 weeks. Below is a list of the remediations that were required after i thoroughly went over the vehicle on its return. - Broken Trim Clips - Screws missing from mudflap fixtures - Concealing Screw Covers missing from interior trim panel. - Poorly fitted bumper. - Reversing Camera Finisher Panel Missing - Areas where there is a lack of paint or no paint at all that are visible from the exterior of the vehicle. - Poor masking which has resulted in Black Plastic Panel to be painted which should remain unpainted. - No blending to quarter panels when i was advised at initial inspection they would be blended. - Mismatch in paint colour. - Defects in paint work - Wet sanding marks still visible across all repair areas. Following a complaint to the MD i was contacted by the Ops Director who heard my problems and advised a day to visit the facility to discuss all of the above. There was not much of a discussion to be had more of a head nodding agreement as to the lack of care and attention pre and post repair. I even had challenges of "is there even meant to be a concealing cover there" When talking to individuals from like for like industries do not attempt to challenge them as if they are stupid or illiterate. I even went to the extent of handing back some of the trim screws in the individuals hand just to add more salt to the already wounded discussion. Fast forward to collection almost a week later having agreed a courtesy vehicle. Paint recitfications were made , necessary screws, covers etc installed however one part still remained outstanding this was the reverse camera trim. They had installed one but advised me the square gap was to be concealed by a blanking cover. I was sent on my way advised that it was currently on backorder and they would let me know when it arrives. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and assumed they would be in touch. Fast forward to January 2022 - i contact them having touched base with the manufacturer to see the availabililty of the so called part. To no suprise at all the manufacturer (Nissan) advises me that they have plenty available and they have been in stock and available since January 2021 in siginificant stock quantities. I then evaluate the part number against the Nissan Electronic Parts catalogue to see exactly what part was fitted to my vehicle against the part that was required to find the wrong part had been fitted. I ring AD Williams Farnham and explain that i am not only being lied to, no one had come back to me and the vehicle has since developed other faults. These are as follows: - Heated Rear Screen not working at all. - N/S Rear Tailgate Hydraulic Ram Clicking upon opening and closing - Paint defect to tailgate bobbling. - Camera Trim still oustanding. Last week i was contacted by AD Williams we have ordered 2 parts for the camera trim both have been incorrect still waiting for the correct part mass incompetence here as there are only 4 possible part numbers to order. The paint defect has been rectified - i will go on the assumption this has been as i have not seen the car. The hydraulic ram is now a matter between the insurance company and AD Williams as they are asking for the insurance to pay for it. Heated Rear screen was awaiting an engineer to look at it this was removed and refitted by them In short never use the company for any repair expect a whole host of excuses, lies, poor quality workmanship and your wont see your vehicle for a matter of weeks if not month(s). Photos can be attached to this review however i would hope reading it would give you a better insight to the ongoing saga. The car is still actively in the AD Williams Farnham branch on 10/02/22.
