I'd like to thank Sam for putting me at ease from the first minute of our introductory session and being someone I immediately felt comfortable with. Having never sought therapy in the past I was both intrigued & somewhat apprehensive around what I'd get out of it & what direction the talks would go but I can honestly say the sessions have massively helped with my anxiety in recent months to put things into perspective and sleepless nights worrying over the daily stresses of work are now a rarity. If you are thinking of counselling for any reason whatsoever, your first thought will probably be, what's the counsellor like? will we get on? can they help? These questions are incredibly important to you and me. in my experience it took me a little over 30 seconds to decide if Sam would be my counsellor, She is personable, empathetic, non-judgemental (as you would expect) and incredibly good at what she does. She has helped me in so many ways in such a short space of time, her space is relaxing, her sofa is comfortable and she has an exceptional way of making her clients feel welcomed and comfortable, nothing is too much. If you are thinking of counselling for any number of reasons, you too will feel relaxed and at ease in a welcoming space with a great counsellor (you will understand once you meet her what I mean).

I have been seeing Sam for many months and I can not recommend her and her service more. When I first arrived at her place I was full of anxiety... full of self doubt... and very unhappy with many issues from my past and current life... i was so pleased her studio was warm welcoming and unintimidating. I needed a friendly face and an empathic ear and that is exactly what I got. She is such a professional in every way listening without judgment and there's always a smile when you need it. I have been supported every step of the way and have noticed a massive change in my anxiety, depression and even my confidence.... I was sceptical about therapy at first but it has been a life saver for me and I cannot thank Sam enough for all her continued help.

Perfect balance of personable and professional. I feel I could bring any topic to the session as Sam is so accepting and open minded - whether that be a specific difficulty or just weekly ups and downs. Whatever problem I discuss, I always leave a session with a lot more clarity around it.

Very useful and helpful during this difficult period for me, I would recommend this counsellor to anyone. She could have made me pay for all the sessions but everything was absolutely free, very thoughtful
