i visited Alton sports today and had a consult for my running style. the advise and knowledge was great with a variety of running trainers to try. I was indecisive and was able to try 3 or 4 pairs on while using the treadmill. there was a great offer to buy one and get the other half price which was a nice bonus. very positive visit!

If you're a runner, of any ability, go here. Go here and ask for Nick. Nick is amazing and such a lovely, intelligent man to chat to about running. This is my new favourite running shop in the entire world, everyone please go and make sure these kinds of places don't fall to the ogre of online purchase.

It took a lot of courage to enter the shop as Im so new to the world of running and know nothing. However, I had multiple recommendations from friends to visit due to their customer service. I was instantly met with such friendly staff who went above and beyond for me. I really wasnt sure what I wanted but the staff helped guide me and I walked away with a pair of proper running shoes with inbuilt arch support which I knew I needed. Very impressed and happy.
