Booked my car in for an oil change, fair play to the owner he got it in last minute for me. When I took it in the next day the owner who I had spoken to on the phone previously wasnt there and he had left just one guy to run the garage. Dropped my car off at 8 expecting it to be done relatively quickly, at 3.30pm I had to phone and chase it up. When I went and collected it I noticed it had done 40 miles since the morning also the guy was hesitant to give me an invoice for the work done and insisted that the owner would email one across. I queried the mileage on my car and the mechanic straight up denied anything, avoiding conflict I left it as didnt want any drama. After getting my car checked out fairly recently after, it was confirmed that it was very unlikely that the oil and filters had been changed when i took the car in as they were filthy. I would say be wary and maybe make sure the owner looks after your car and make sure you take a reading of the mileage before you leave the car there Service: Oil change
