Farnham Eye Care (Mr Dan Lindfield Ophthalmologist & Cataract Surgeon)

Tried to get an appointment for my chronic dry eyes only to be told that due to a long waiting list Dr Lindfield is not willing to take me on as a patient. Surely a patient suffering with eye problems that affect them 24 hours a day is still important? Apparently not. Mostly annoyed as they have written on their website they treat all eye conditions INCLUDING dry eyes!! Perhaps update your website so people dont get their hopes up and waste their time waiting for a reply only to be told they cant have an appointment as they are not deemed important.

I consulted Dan Lindfield regarding treatment for cataracts, in the hope of also gaining improved general vision (after being completely dependent on glasses since I was 3 years old!). Dan listened carefully to what I hoped for and recommended toric EDOF lenses to treat cataracts, fairly extreme astigmatism, and very long sightedness. A big ask! We discussed getting both eyes done the same day and Im really glad I took this simpler option. 2 weeks post surgery Dan checked me over, and is as delighted as I am to have 20/20 vision, as well as the ability to read most things- and all without glasses. I had to wait a while for my unusual lens prescription to be available, but Dan was great at keeping me fully informed. He has a very pleasant manner, and gives ample time at appointments to make sure everything goes well. Highly recommended.

I recently had YAG laser surgery to clear blurred vision that had been developing gradually following a cataract op a few years ago. The difference in my sight is amazing and the procedure was so quick and totally pain free. Dan Lindfield performed cataract surgery in my other eye last year and I can't recommend him highly enough. He explains everything so well and put me totally at ease.

Felt very reassured in the care of Mr Lindfield. Friendly and professional and highly skilled. Everything was clearly explained and all staff were helpful and efficient. The procedure went well and the results are excellent. Highly recommend!!
