Farnham House Hotel

Lovely location and grounds. Room was lovely with lots of little touches. BUT. The atmosphere is more like a travel lodge. This place should score a 4.7 but in more like a 3.4. It is quite noisy as there is quite a lot of coming and going. Quite a few "van men" using it as a base. So early departures on the gravel drive. Breakfast service is rather hit and miss although the full English is substantial. Room servicing is poor,came back to find bed not made and damp paper towels left on the dresser where they had wiped out the teatray cups. Could definitely do better!

Stayed here on numerous occasions and is very good value for money. As its about 2 miles out of the centre of Farnham, there is a problem regarding eating in the evening as there is no open restaurant at the hotel itself: however its half the price than a similar sized establishment in the centre of town. Rooms are really nice, it's quiet, away from any main roads and there is a nice bar area. Definitely recommended. Thanks for another enjoyable stay.
