They're dealing with my tax return now. And to be quite honest I wish I did it myself. Office staff poor at returning phone calls and keeping you in the loop. Not a great experience for me at all.

Engaged in cold calling with false information to lure me in to use them for tax rebate. Once paperwork was signed, I was informed I would actually be getting less than half the amount I was told I was eligible for. I was annoyed at the mistake and unprofessionalism, so I backed out. I made a complaint, they listened to the initial phone call and agreed that I had been misinformed but as I'd signed the paperwork, I need to pay. Hard, dishonest sales tactics. When investigated by financial ombudsman service, they produced paperwork claiming to be members of the ICAEW- they are not. When asked to pay the fee, the account details didn't even match. These people are accountants! Edit(Answer)*- It was closed by the financial ombudsman service because I'd already signed the contract and although your tactics to get me to sign up were dishonest, somehow they were legal. I still have the email responding to the FOS where you make the ICAEW claim. Neither in-sync or the accountant assigned to me are members. The outcome of my complaint was unacceptable because you admitted I was misinformed by your sales team, yet demanded payment. That is the reason for this review. Another thing that is clear is that a lot of these reviews for In-sync are written by staff members. One of the reviews actually thanks someone by name without realising it has his own name at the top of the review. Mickey mouse company.
