Life changing therapy! Elaine has given me the tools to manage depression, binge eating and alcohol abuse. Since starting with Elaine I have managed to completely turn my life around. I used to wake up everyday thinking not another day and now I wake up wishing there were more hours in the day! Gaining a scientific understanding of how my brain was controlling me really helped. Cant recommend highly enough.

I would highly recommend Solution Focused studios to anyone! Elaine is a very compassionate and attentive therapist, clearly passionate about her subject and dedicated to helping people. For those who are dubious about the term "hypnotherapy', I would say don't be at all. It is nothing like the clich it has become, and is mainly about getting your brain to relax enough to subconsciously take in positive thoughts and therefor become better at dealing with whatever the problem is. Personally, I wanted to deal with my irrational fear of flying, but also a sense of anxiety that started to creep into other areas of my life, the longer I kept trying to ignore my fear and just "get on with it". The way Elaine explained what my brain was doing made so much sense immediately and took away any feeling of "what is wrong with me?". With several exercises to contemplate on through the week, as well as listening to a very relaxing audio daily, i could feel myself slowly becoming less anxious and more capable of dealing with my brain and my fears and then eventually being able to control my thoughts and reactions entirely. These sessions have been a real eye opener, of deep benefit to my mental health and a real joy to have taken part in. I would thoroughly encourage anyone hesitating to try it, Elaine will definitely look after you!

I would highly recommend working with Elaine. She manages to balance her professional and skillful expertise with a very warm, welcoming and supportive approach. I really look forward to my sessions with Elaine and most importantly, she has helped me to make significant positive changes, where other options have failed. It really is the most positive thing I have done for myself; i just wished I'd discovered it earlier!
