The Fire Barn

We originally booked a 1 man band to fit our stove, his quote was a fraction cheaper than the fire barn. Safe to say that was a dreadful mistake and we had a very poor experience with the 1man band. He did a really shoddy job and refused to put it right, then stormed off in a huff leaving us with a gaping hole in the living room wall. Anyhow, Andrew and his team to the rescue and we are delighted with the finished result. The installation was completed a couple of months ago and we've had it lit almost every day since. The professional job completed by the fire barn is streets ahead of what we'd have ended up with originally. The attention to detail and quality of the finish is another level. Our lounge was so cosy this Christmas We like it so much we are thinking of booking them in to install another stove in our new kitchen before next winter. Thank you to you all!

A real hidden gem. I was recommended this place and couldn't have been more impressed. The showroom is immaculately laid out on two floors with a great range of fires but also lovely home accessories - clocks, candles, ornaments etc., that I haven't seen anywhere else and all very reasonably priced. Andrew (the owner) and Charlotte (his sister-in-law) were so helpful and friendly even though I explained that I was only looking speculatively. They left me to look around and I found the most beautiful hurricane lamp for my fussiest of friend's birthday present. A genuine family run business who take the utmost pride and care of their customers and reputation. Once I'm in a position to choose my fireplace, I certainly won't need to look anywhere else and in the meantime will be back for more accessories and gifts.

The whole experience of chosing and getting a woodburning stove was first class from start to finish. There was no pressure selling at the shop. Andy was knowledgeable about each stove and was very friendly. Steve who did all the installation was very friendly. He covered everything in the room to minimise the dust. Cleaned up after himself everyday. Discussed what was wanted. Absolutely briiliant throughout.
