The White Horse Medical Practice

I find the e-consult service impossible to deal with, despite having no difficulty in dealing with similar services in other organisations. I am well aware of the immense difficulties facing the NHS at present and any personal interactions I have had with staff have been excellent. Perhaps there needs to be more care taken at senior levels before buying into systems that do not appear to be user friendly? I note with interest that positive reviews on this site are dated from some months ago; the negative ones are recent and relate to the e-consult service.

This is the worst of the worst for older people. Engage consult is a waste of life. I'd had enough so went in to talk to these people. Had a 'discussion' with one of the receptionists who refused to say the word 'No'. "So if I can't get online and I can't ring early in the morning can I see a doctor?" Couldn't believe this woman would not say the word no. The anwer is "No" my lovely. I told her "This isn't the House of Commons where it's impossible to get a straight answer." No you can't is the answer. So if you're working where there's no phone reception and you can't get a signal then you can't see a doctor.

They changed from paper registration to online registration only Not helpful at all to 80 year olds but even worse the date of ones birth entry is farcical and took 960 key depressions to get back to my year of birth

I'd give 0 if I could needed prescription on the Friday ergently so messaged them early Friday morning they left it till 1 min before closing to say sorruly only just seen this wait till after weekend
