Sudbury House Hotel

This beautifully set hotel unfortunately does not have the service and booking facilities to match. I stayed for a wedding. The hotel managed to lose my booking and then couldnt provide a family room. They were given payment details on two occasions but didnt take payment. I ended up paying on arrival, no confirmations, no booking information despite promises. We ended up in two twins rooms and asked for them to be near each other. As the hotel messed up so many peoples bookings that weekend, the rooms ended on different floors. We werent told when the second room was ready and were given the wrong key cards. Reception was overwhelmed and management non- existent. A poorly run hotel in a beautiful setting.

Largish hotel in lovely grounds on the edge of the interesting Cotswold town of Farmington. Spacious room, great shower and roomy bathroom. Comfortable bed. Very clean. Breakfast was great. A buffet for cereals toast, pastries and fruit etc. Then individually cooked breakfast to your request. Included smoked salmon and scrambled egg and full English. The town centre is five minutes walk away and has several restaurants and pubs.
