Carpet News

I really like a family run company and try to use them where I can, the staff in branch are good particularly Paul and Vicky. Two of my friends have used Carpet News with no issue and have been impressed with the end result. That said I wouldn't use Carpet News again. I was unimpressed with Mark who charged more than quoted, and was rude/ foul language. The standard of fitting was poor with gripper rods being felt through the carpet on the staircase, lumps in the carpet in both the dining room and hallway (the one in the hallway so severe it's a trip hazard) and the carpet in our living room and dining room were fitted in opposite directions so have different pile.

Awful service. Took my money and set a date for the carpet to be fitted. Can only do half the room and was told it could be a month till the rest of the carpet can be fitted. Was told by rude staff members 10 minutes before closing that i had to pick diffrent carpet to be fitted the next day, which is the orginal date of it getting fitted.
