I contacted Craig as I had an engine management light on. He came to my workplace within good time and scanned my car for faults, he found with my turbo. He offered to source and replace the turbo at my earliest convenience, this was done in a short space of time and really saved my bacon. Great value for money and very friendly service. Not impressed with the service I was given. Called the mechanic to check a leak I had in my car. He came and told me it was an airlock at first, then the thermostat was faulty. Changed the thermostat, filled up my radiator and told me there was no longer any leak. A day or so later leak was still there. Told him this, he came and checked his work, and said maybe it was something else. He then said he would come back the following day, and never appeared. Charged me 170 for something that probably didnt need doing! Took the car to Kwik fit only to be told I needed a new water pump, which was the cause of the leak, and will cost in the region of another 300-400. AVOID! Edit: Craig's reply about him knocking the door is total rubbish! Both myself and partner were in all day waiting as he said he would be coming round. There was no knock on the door unless it was about 6am. A professional mechanic would have chosen to come back again if that was the case. Job not finished, I stand by my review, avoid at all costs.
