Harvest Barn

Had our kids 2nd party here. He loved it and so many people said how good it was and the food. Really nice for kids here and cake food nice for adults

As farm shops go only just average. Usual selection of packaged produce, the same as available in most other farm shops. + a very small selection of fresh fruit and veg with some (but not much) locally produced items. Judging from other reviews their forte seems to be functions such as childrens parties etc. We were early in the day and the cafe was very quiet when we arrived. As we were leaving it was starting to fill up for what is obviously a popular carvery. As a farm shop we wont be back. As a cafe we may have to give it a go.

My friend recommended the lamb feeding so we visited together with our young children. The lamb feeding is pre booked and was done in a small group, in a little barn where we all had our own bottle and lamb and they all happily drank their milk. It was such a lovely experience and by far the best compared to other places we have been where a bottle gets passed from child to child, which cant be in the best interest of the lambs in my opinion. We also had brunch which was delicious and the park and animals kept the boys busy for over 3 hours. Food was lovely and it was a morning well spent, well most definitely be back.
