Eggfree Cake Box Walworth

I came into today to this branch at 17:20 as I wanted cake. My recent visit prior to this one is when I bought red velvet cake in which the sponge was hard. I came back today and inform the member of staff she is a white lady, blonde hair, wears glasses, 5 ft 3 and has an Eastern European accent her eye colour is green or so but she does wear glasses. I kindly asked her which cake was fresh for today and she wasn't sure. I then informed her that I bought red velvet cake and it was hard. Her was response was unprofessional she said the sponge shouldn't be are and she was very annoyed and I informed her yet again that it was as this was feedback for herself and her team to not leave the cakes for a long time as it will become hard and lose it flavour. She is a rude person. Instead of taking the constructive feedback she just said the cake shouldn't be hard. Her customer service was highly poor and terrible. She should of at least apologise and said thank you for letting me know and I will feed this back to the team but she just was so unprofessional about it. Anyway I bought a cake but before I left, I tried it to ensure that the sponge and cake overall wasn't hard or tasted off in which it didn't. She needs training on customer service and food handling as she used her bear hands to get the cake which was covered in cardboard. She should wear a bear of gloves when handling food it's very unhygienic. Cakebox team teach your staff how to provide better customer service cause this is how you lose customers.

I've heard so much about the cake box, so I thought I'd give them a try. I ordered a box of 4 cupcakes, unfortunately after getting half way through one my body started to reject it and I became violently ill with vomiting and diarrhoea for the rest of the day. I'm not what the ingredients is for their egg free cupcakes, but clearly they are not for me. It's shame because they really did look good!

Worst customer service, they supposed to open 11am open at 11:45am. One staff just serving who she likes to serve. If their cake wasnt a best cake I would never go there. Their customer service in Walworth Road is the worst.
