Been an owner since beginning of 2017, The site itself is excellent for location and well looked after, with beach access, swimming pool, gym, sauna and steam room, the lakes is nice and tranquil, the bars are OK, but could do with updating the drinks, Carling, Coors and Stella on tap, the shop is shocking, but at the end of the day it is peaceful and we love it! on a weekend after a hard week at work, somewhere to escape to relaxation and peace!

The site is nice, needs a bit of modernising but its well kept. The food is awful, wouldnt feed most of it to my dog and theyre absolutely useless with allergies. Service is painfully slow even when its quiet. Entertainment is ok for young children but nothing great. With the cost of staying on here, it should definitely be better, it has definitely gone downhill over the last few years. Edit: 23/8/22 - Theyve made good improvements to allergy awareness, not a great selection if you have allergies but the information is now easily obtainable, which is a start. The new menu is better, still not great food but just your typical pub grub now. The entertainment has definitely improved as well. Theres a young lad called Tom who works in the activities team who is absolutely brilliant, my son has ASD and ADHD and he was amazing with him. He couldnt have done more, even attending some activities he wasnt due to be at just to help my son, hes a credit to himself and your site.
