        We visited one lunchtime for sandwiches which were delicious and obviously freshly prepared. As we had had such nice food, we went back for dinner the next evening. Once again, the food was delicious and freshly cooked. In addition the staff were very friendly and helpful on both occasions. Really recommend the Red Lion.

        Lovely place to enjoy a quiet lunch. Food was good, cakes looked good. Nice comfy lounge/ eating area. Would go back. Vegetarian options: There were a couple of veggie options
