Nails by Steve

I had Acrylic nails done this morning which turned out very nice apart from my fingers throbbing for a few hours afterwards. However the customer service wasnt what u would expect from a nail bar. The lady that was doing my nails kept stopping in the middle of doing my nails to text whoever was on her phone. There was no cleaning of the equipment and the employees did not wash their hands once. The table we were at was really dirty from the moment I got in there and it wasnt cleaned before she started working on my nails. I know their big window doesnt open but they really should have left the door open at least as it was warm out and as soon as I walked through that door the smell of chemicals from the nails equipment hit me hard. As someone who doesnt sit in a nail salon all day every day I can tell u this is not healthy to be breathing in fumes that strong. They need to get a window they can open or leave the door open or something! I felt light headed sitting there. Services: Nail cut & filing, Acrylic nails

My wife has been going to Steves for years now and always been delighted by his professionalism, service and attention. However since Steve opened a second nail bar in Holt. Service at the Fakenham branch has declined. My wife had an appointment there today and the young man who done her nails didnt do such a good job, he was even wearing EarPods and on his phone most of the time - his mind was just not on doing his job and too busy chatting to who ever was on the other end of the phone and not caring about the customer in front of him. I tried speak to Steve this afternoon at the Holt branch but got no reply. In future unless its Steve doing her nails she will go elsewhere. Service: Manicure

The work is appalling - their hygiene is non-existant. Last I was in there a ladys finger was bleeding over the table due to poor standard of work - theyd cut into her thumb - and they didnt even clean up the mess, wash their hands or disinfected the equipment. I felt absolutely sick. My mothers nails were absolutely ruined and Steve/his poss of under trained workers were of no help whatsoever. Disgusted by the level of service. DO NOT GO HERE. SCAM. The ladies dont seem to care if Steve isnt there. AVOID. I hope Steve sorts this out.
