        Just taken up bowls there, very friendly group of people. Its wonderful. But i cant stand the inconsiderate car parkers over there at the weekends.

        The recreation ground is a large open space situated in the north east of Redbridge Hainault recreation ground is the outdoor sports hub for the London borough Redbridge. The park is in Fairlop ward and is home to 17 football pitches and 10 cricket pitches. The park also hosts a well stocked playground for a range of ages and a well established bowls club. Following recent investment from the London Borough of Redbridges Capital works program and funding from Sport England the sports pavilion has been completely refurbished and will provide changing facilities for a many more teams within the borough.The ground was also awarded funding by the Thomas Cook Childrens charity to install two outdoor table tennis tables. Visions sports development team have now established a new cricket league in the park which has brought for the first time mid week sports use to the ground for many years.
