We couldnt recommend Stephen and the Tanner Construction team highly enough. We met with a number of builders prior to starting our renovation project and Stephen stood-out from the start highly professional and personable, providing detailed quotes (one of the few that did) and taking the time and care to make sure we were happy before the work started and throughout the build. Stephen made us feel comfortable during what was a daunting project, providing guidance and dealing with our countless questions. The site was always kept clean and tidy, and we couldnt be happier with the final results. Tanner Construction stood out from other builders as they provided a detailed quote which gave us full visibility on the cost and timeline of the project. Steve and his team were professional and completed the work to a high standard. Our extension and remodelling was delivered in line with the schedule of work and cost plan originally provided. Steve Tanner did an incredible job of our extension and garden landscaping, Steve as well as his team were polite, tidy and always on time, we could not of been happier with our end result, the finish and overall workmanship are second to none. we really couldn't fault him or his team, and can't recommend him highly enough. hid guidance and help throughout the process was invaluable. We chose chose Tanner Construction as our preferred builder for our side extension and we are so glad we did. Stephen and his team were polite, friendly, turned up on time and left the site tidy each day. There was always a positive, productive atmosphere around the house. We were given plenty of notice about decisions that needed to be made, who and when contractors would be coming, and there was virtually no final snagging list as Stephen came and checked work done routinely, taking pride in a job done well. The main build ran to schedule, and Stephen willingly worked alongside our timescale regarding decoration, flooring etc which we took responsibility for, fitting in the final fixes at a mutually convenient time. We would thoroughly recommend him.

Stephen and his exceptional team undertook substantial alterations on our property during the first half of 2021. As you can see from the photographs, the finished work is absolutely first-class! Stephen was a pleasure to work alongside; his estimate was extremely clear, he delivered to budget, he worked to the schedule that we had agreed in advance and when a few minor challenges arose I found him collaborative in determining the best solution. (For example, we were able to remain living in reasonable comfort in the property throughout the works, due to Stephen's flexibility and forward-thinking). I found Stephen to be well-organised, making sure that materials and equipment arrived on time and scheduling the various trades according to the right sequence of work. Overall I found Stephen very easy to get on with, and always approachable and willing to answer any questions I had (and being an engineering manager I had a lot!) Stephen and his team take a lot of pride in the quality of their workmanship, often going above and beyond to achieve the highest standards. This was particularly important to me, as someone who 'has an eye for detail'. I would thoroughly recommend Tanner Construction for any building work you might be considering.
