I was in asylum application unit a few months ago and I couldn't not leave a review. I was scared to death to come there, my circumstances are not simple at all, it's a very hard time in my life and I would never imagine that during my lifetime I'll be forced to seek such protection, because of a high possibility to lose my life in a horrible way. The only person who knows those things about me, which I would never be able to share with anybody, because of great fear and shame, is my one and only relative. But in order to explain my situation I needed to tell about everything during the interviews. It was terribly hard, I still can't recover from stress caused by telling the story that I don't want to have in my life, but I want to say a big THANK YOU for every asylum unit worker for being so warm, understanding and supporting! I never believed that people can be like this, through my experiences it was always other way around, especially with authorities, I feared that I'll be yelled at, that nobody will listen to me or take me seriously, but people there - they did. And it gave me so much strength, it was a life changing experience. THANK YOU SO MUCH! Whatever will happen - you already gave me hope and support I had never had before when interacting with other people. Special thank you to the officer who conducted my last interview - Mr. Jim Shaw, I will never forget how kind you were even though I was so stressed out and I was crying so much. I wish you all the best in your life. After talking to you, I, for the first time, felt that my life has some value.

To, The Home affine Croydon Team, Screening Interview for Assylum as Human Rights seeker. Subject : Complaint against Intetviewer officer name : N MUYANJA , INTERVIEW 11 JUJY 2022 / AIU/ 12:12 PM ASU CROYDON TEAM. The interviewer was look pretty cool at the beginning however as the interview moved on I found her pretty racist, she work as racist not a profissional specialist to u derstand some one personal issues as human rights. 1. I was give her written on a paper my london address she putted wrong by Intention so all my initial documents lost, my BRP card lost and suffered huge stressed while being in stressed already, 2. As an asylum seeker, during the interview I asked here why your not asking me for shelter and financial help she very rudely reply to me that you don't need, but what I found thats is ( Because am belong to LGBTQ+) and racistically she skiped it with the intentions let me suffer more, 3. She asked me once you arrived as visitor on airport did VO aske you why you come ? I replied for visit, because there was LGBTQ+ parade in London and I came for that. Then she asked if VO refused the entry what was gonna be your reply, I replied straight away back to home simple. Then she asked did you claim asylum on airport I told her why I claim asylum i came for visit. Despite all these questions answer related to arrival port she give me specific reason statement your intension was to come to London and claim assylum, and she put me as illegal entrant and she added further breach of law under s.261(1)(c) of the IA 1971. Which totally injustice, and am looking forward to drag her into the court I recored my interview very clearly that after seeing LGBTQ cumminity I am impressed by freedom of speech to remain here as member of LGBTQ. 4. I even request them an interpreter which they did not give me. 5. Other thing I told her very clearly am bisexual but she add gay man, which totally wrong, however a write Complaint against the lady has been sent to the Home Office cryodon to record it and attach to my file although soon I will file a case against because her approach totally racist Conclusion: I was think I will remain calm and peaceful as an LGBTQ member but unfortunately faced a racist person at the very first stage of my journey onward. I request Home office pls give a proper training to all screening interviewer to keep inmind if some seeking human rights they should give them instead being racist while to face prosecution in court against the blunder of interviewer. I even went back to her office where she give me a shut-up call by saying that i can't do any thing pls go out which a clear hate of LGBTQ community and she add we will give you paper pls fill any in that any you want change , I did mistake I did not check with her manager unfortunately otherwise I would ask why she is doing this...
