Fantastic traditional pub A warm welcome awaits you. Food looks fantastic ( definitely trying the Sunday roast ASAP ) interesting " top shelf " ,cosy well maintained beer garden and a juke box !! Worth finding and experiencing, you'll definitely visit more than once .

The Hop Pole is a great local pub and sports bar with perfect Guinness and good food.The staff are very friendly and competent. .It will always be my favourite.

Such a shame, we had high hopes with all the good reviews but it has been a waste of money and the food ended up in the bin. Chicken meat was of very poor quality, skewers came flooded with a watery yellow curry tasting sauce (I've ordered satay!), and the two Pad Thai had totally different taste, with one being burnt and lacking in taste at the same time. It's a big big big no for me, unfortunately. Whatever there was in that food, it's given me heartburn

Guinness is amongst the best in London and the Thai food is excellent - the pub shows rugby and football too, you couldn't ask for more!
