The entire gym and side rooms (can only assume about the female changing room) are kept in immaculate condition. Great attention to detail by the employed cleaners but also staff get in on the act too, and can be seen with cleaning cloths, mops and buckets.
Lots of training equipment to go around, and any that break are quickly fixed.
I cannot talk too much about their classes as I'm usually on the equipment, but recently I tried a circuit class... it was very enjoyable, tiring, definitely beneficial and friendly. I have now decided to include this and other classes into my weekly training routine.
Just to add, at the end of the class, everyone's sweaty face had a big smile on it.
I've been going to various gyms from young, had memberships in gyms like Virgin, Solutions, etc, and although the East Croydon Gym is on par equipment wise, imo, it's one of the top when it comes to friendly staff, also friendly members.. This is why there is a warm, welcoming, comfortable atmosphere.
And it is open 24/7.. Another big tick.
