This food is fantastic. I prefer mainland Chinese food to your typical Chinese food you get on the high street. This is tasty, hearty, fresh and simple food that is affordable. The staff told me they are dumpling specialists and they did not disappoint. Comfortable and clean environment. Would come again!

Ordered some dumplings and two chef recommendations on deliveroo. Dumplings are nice although I got the feeling that the char siu it was frozen. But still very nice. The bbq pork and roast duck were both bland and had no taste. I can't recommend either of these chef recommendations. The portion size were generous however on this occasion that just plenty of bad food. I wouldn't recommend these dishes.

The Chinese Gourmet is the best Chinese restaurant in the area !!! Keep it this way :)

Waited 30 mins for order then when it come their were items missing and by the time I got home (2 minutes drive) food was cold. Shop its self was not up to standard. Not good impression when needle medication is on table in main waiting area. Won't be going there again.
