The Band Rooms

We used the band rooms back in July, they were spacious, clean and very good value for money! The owner is friendly and helpful, we would definitely recommend this rehearsal space to other bands!

Got interrupted half way through with "mind turning it down a bit" by the bloke who ran it. Obviously not sound proof then. Equipment was sparse and aged. Freezing cold but at least we got a practice session in.

I found the whole experience of using TheBandRooms to practise a relaxed, stress free and enjoyable time. Marcus the site owner, is the most chilled guy ever and after just a short chat with him it was clear to me his facility is run by music makers for music makers, with a love of the music first and foremost, at a very fair cost which cannot be matched anywhere else locally I've found. I'm not sure the previous reviewer has all his mental faculties or maybe resides at '2 Unrealistic Street, Cloud Cuckoo Land' if he assumes he's going to get leather sofas, drinks machines, TV and sandwiches thrown in for the hourly rate TheBandRooms charge. The electricity works, the lights work, the inner sound proofed room was adequate for my band's needs, allowing and indeed instructing bands to 'Play As Live' meaning as loud as they like, as the quiet rural location in Horton Heath has no residents, neighbours or even passers by who are likely to object to extremely loud music being played, even well into the small hours. How many other practise rooms can assure you of that? Not many I shouldn't wonder. I'll be using the TheBandRooms facilities for my band's practice ad infinitum as I have an understanding of what a cost effective little gem of a facility it is for cash-strapped bands looking for somewhere regular to practise that's cheap!
