After talking to various low lives and getting robbed once, 80 quid just to come lol, I found Paul who seemed kind, professional, patient and very eloquent. Requested a quote for a shower leak, he said 300 quid to add up silicon which seemed way too expensive, but OK, he seemed reliable. His guy came, only managed to silicon part of the shower since the door wouldn't easily move, I still paid 300. 10 days later or so spotted the leak again, asked for shower replacement which we discussed as an alternative if the leak did not go away, so basically the doors and tray only, nothing else, no plumbing or anything, he quoted me 3K. I can have half of the bathroom redone for that much money, it is a small bathroom with a small shower.... I was expecting 1200-1500 max which is still so much.. Sadly as a small private business trying to rip people off like everyone else in current UKstan! Dissapointed and will never use again. Oh yeah, this was with a @reasonable@ discount as well. We couldn't be more pleased with the work carried out by PQ Plumbers. Such a friendly, hard working and professional service. It is apparent how passionate they are about their work, always making sure you are left with the highest finish. The bathrooms they fitted were not always straight forward but they have excellent problem solving skills. We will definitely be using PQ plumbers again! Service: Shower installation

I would highly recommend this business. We struggled to even get others to quote/turn up, but we spoke to Paul and he was so helpful. Basically we had a split shower tray, that tray repairers had told us it was not repairable. Unfortunately for us the tray was tiled in! Paul came and looked, he also spotted that our grout lines had started to crack, and said that there is likely moisture behind as a result. We ended up going backwards and forwards (nightmare customers!!) with added and removing bits from the quote. Paul was very patient, and all of this was done with no quibble. Once we agreed a start date that was quick, Paul and Karl turned up. Paul effectively handed the job over to Karl, but made sure he knew what we had wanted etc. Karl was nice and clearly very competent. My wife only uses trades people that she gets a good feeling about and both Karl and Paul passed this test! The shower has been completed to the spec we had agreed.it was quick and is fantastic quality/workmanship. Place was left tidy after, and fantastic communication. You honestly couldnt ask for more. They made good suggestions along the way,like adding the tray onto a plinth so it doesnt crack again (or risk cracking), risks of removing and reinstalling the door etc. all billed as agreed with no surprises. I honestly couldnt recommend them enough, and a bonus they are both family men. Service: Shower repair
