The Sue Merrett School of Dance is simply outstanding. Our girls have loved their classes from the age of 3. The teachers provide friendly but engaging lessons which have built confidence and dedication from our girls. The shows are fantastic and the lasting friendships made by students and parents make this dance school a wonderful family feel. We moved away from the area but drive 45mins each way to regularly attend classes because of the excellence provided by all at this dance school. We would thoroughly recommend to all!

An amazing dance school that puts students at the very heart of all it does. My children have blossomed under all the teachers teaching them and have gained confidence and self-worth as well as a passion for dance that is nurtured and encouraged at every step. They have even managed to maintain this through lockdowns via zoom classes! My children love being part of Sue Merrett and I would highly recommend it to anyone thinking of enrolling their child in a dance school.

We are so lucky to have Sue Merrett School of Dance on our doorstep. The teaching is fantastic , with a wonderful mix of fun, creativity, and technical excellence. In the four years my daughter has been dancing with the school she has been inspired to take up ballet, modern, and tap and is progressing well through the grades. The fact that so many dancers stay on until they leave for university and that many of them go on to dance in their careers is testament to the professionalism and passion of the teachers. Watching the older students perform and having the opportunity to take part in the biennial show has really spurred our 9 year old on in her dance journey. The teaching on zoom during lockdown was a little slice of normal, loved both by our daughter and by us, we couldnt be more pleased to have found you all!
