This was a very enjoy able morning sat at back with my child and did the 930am service trditional style. Had chace to hear the readings and songs then tea and biscuts raining so stayed and went to the next service 11oclock and was just as good. With 2 different ways looking at the reading.

Absolutely beautiful church, fabulous friendly vicar, went to a friends funeral today, which was one of the loveliest funerals I've been too, you could tell the vicar had listened to what the family had said, that the vicar new the man, and what a very special and loved person he was. It had always been a wonderful friendly church, my mum went there as a child, my grandparents were married and buried there, my granddad's brothers name is up on the memorial plaque in memorial of those who died during the war. The church is wheelchair accessible, but because of the pews, you have to be sat at the back, which is not a problem for me or my mum. Although it's an old traditional church, it also feels modern and very welcoming, the vicar and volunteers are so friendly and kind. The only draw back is the parking, there is very little parking, luckily we did manage to get on the end, which was ideal for my wheelchair ramp. The lane and cemetery around the church are equally beautiful, with primroses, buttercups and other wild flowers coming through, to let us know spring is well on its way. The cemetery is not wheelchair friendly, nor is it good for anyone with walking difficulties, but most cemeteries are the same unfortunately, which can't really be helped. This church is definitely a 5 star.
