Big fan of the tech :). I never have to worry about turning on/off the hot water. Its almost instant! Edit: I've had to change this review to 2 stars as the tank started bulging after only 5 months. I feel lucky that I spotted it. I've been told it will be replaced in 5 days and in the meantime I can't use hot/cold water in the shower without risking it bursting. It was replaced after 5 days

I have been trying to contact Mixergy for over 2 months now. I have submitted multiple enquiries via the mixergy website and I have tried calling mixergy well over 40 times in the last 2 months. No one answers their phones or replies to the enquiries on the website. I understand that the company is busy but not responding to an enquiry made over 2 months ago just isn't acceptable. EDIT: I have used 3 different email addresses in attempts to contact Mixergy and if you don't answer the phone it makes it very difficult.

Such a brilliant product - the level of control is great, the automation option also works really well and the system flexibility allows us to use the tank in different ways in the future. Really impressive especially for a newish company.

Had our Mixergy tank installed about 4 weeks ago and already seeing benefits. Our boiler now heats water from 06:00 to 08:00 every day as opposed to 05:00 to 11:00 pre-Mixergy. As the weather improves I expect to reduce that 2 hour window as well. Previously surplus solar panel power generated was directed, via the iBoost, to the immersion heater that was in the top of the water tank and gave a limited hot water supply. Now, all the surplus power generated, when not powering washing machine / tumble drier etc., that previously went to the grid is now heading to the Mixergy tank and we are seeing 60% plus tank heating on good sunny days. But I have two requests of the app:- 1. Can you give iBoost users the ability to record the amount of power saved daily from iBoost to the app and the ability to graph that in the data profiles? It would be interesting to see how this impacts savings. 2. All this new found cheap hot water is being appreciated in our house. Can we have a facility in the app to sound a beeper or alarm when the tank drops to a given %age? This would then provide a timely warning to whoever is in the shower that they are about to run out of hot water!! We have a big shower pump!! I can also see some great potential in how the app can develop to benefit users in the future and look forward to learning about any new features that may be in the pipeline.
