Claire Lawrence Cake Design

We can't thank Claire enough for the beautiful cake she created for our wedding day and all the additional treats that went onto our dessert table. From start to finish Claire was a pleasure to work with, she totally understood the brief and delivered a two tier cake (with stunning sugar flowers), chocolate geo hearts and cookies that our guests were talking about for days after our wedding! We had no idea what to expect when making our booking, but Claire made the whole process really easy. We did our cake tasting at home and a virtual consultation where we discussed our design in more detail a few months before our big day. It was during this consultation that Claire re-confirmed how many guests would be attending and actually recommended going from a three to two tier cake so there wasn't as much waste - we really appreciated her honesty, and the fact that she also saved us from any unnecessary spending! Claire has a wonderful eye for detail, our dessert table looked gorgeous and she even loaned us multiple cake stands, which we didn't need to worry about returning until after our honeymoon. Thank you so much for everything Claire and for being a part of our special day - it's safe to say we will be recommending you to all of our friends and family for years to come!

When we put an enquiry in with Claire she took the time to make us a design based on our ideas and style. She then invited us to try a variety of different flavours and we discussed all the finer details. Later on I decided I wanted to amend our style slightly and Claire come up with a whole new design right away. She was so fast to respond and efficient but the best thing was that when she did make our cake, it looked better than anything we could have imagined. It was absolutely stunning, and her attention to detail was brilliant. We asked for a flavour that wasnt even on her list and she made it no problems, and it tasted great! So many people commented on our cake. Wed highly recommend Claire, shes a lovely person, so helpful and on the ball as well as being genuinely talented at her job. Thank you!

Claire made our wedding cake at the end of April, and wow we were not left left disappointed. On the day our cake looked and tasted amazing, and Claire styled the flowers and macarons perfectly. I could not stop going up to the cake throughout the day and admiring how pretty it looked! The communication from Claire from start to finish was excellent, and she was always quick to respond to any questions I had. We got to taste the cake before when we received samples via post but we also went to Claire's for a cake consultation and was able to try some more then. There is no question Claire is very talented, and I would highly recommend her if you are looking for a cake maker for your wedding day.

I've started using Claire for all our family's cakes now, she's absolutely fantastic! My mother and I are both gluten free and you would never be able to taste the difference!

Claire is our go-to cake maker! Book in advance to avoid disappointment though, she will take the time to listen to your ideas and create the perfect design, checking that youre happy before making it. The cake is delicious and it pretty much always looks too good to eat! The pictures of her creations speak for themselves.
